If you're a returning reader, you know here at "Drink Up, Nola," we love a good happy hour. And, lucky for us, New Orleans is full of them. This week, we have a few new happy hours to mention, as well as a few upcoming libation-related events. If you have a happy hour we much check out, let us know in the comments below.

Louise (935 Gravier St.) is in the heart of the CBD. Currently, the bar team is working on rolling out their holiday cocktail menu (stay tuned for that). In the meantime, you can enjoy their happy hour from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Bar manager Hope Clarke says the team is in the process of working on some exciting new things, but right now you can get $5 classic cocktails, $3 Dixie beer and $4 red and white wine. This is a perfect after work stop for some comfy libations.
Lagniappe: We have told you before how important ice is when having a great drink. Well, Clarke is working on flavored ice cubes. Ice cube flavors will include cream cheese and stout ice with coconut water. Here, you can expect anything but an average cocktail.

Aglio (611 O’Keefe Ave.) means garlic in Italian and we all know garlic is said to be good for you. So, let’s dig in and enjoy what this downtown spot has to offer for happy hour. Bartender, Jay Thornton says there are exciting and fun drinks Monday through Saturday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. You can get $5 well drinks, $2 PBR, $3 domestic beer, $5 7th Street Wheat (draft), $5 Culicidae (draft), $5 Jucifer beer and $6 wines by the glass.
