Commander’s Palace Announces Return of CP Sip Series Showcasing “Sips of Autumn”

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Wine Spectator Grand Award Winner Commander’s Palace announces the return of the CP Sips wine tasting event series with “Sips of Autumn” from October to December. Following the success of the summer series, each themed event will again feature a tasting of over 40 wines inspired by the season, cocktails, gourmet small bites, pop-up shops from local makers, and more. 

Commander’s Palace “Wine Guy” Dan Davis, along with famed neighborhood wine destination Swirl Wine Bar & Market and seven local wine distributors, will present a curated selection of over 40 wines to taste and pair with gourmet cheeses, seafood, and bites from Executive Chef Meg Bickford and the restaurant’s culinary team.  

The series will also feature a Commander’s cocktail mixer station featuring spirits from local distiller, Porchjam Distillery, and pop-up shops from local makers including Piety and Desire ChocolateWicks NOLA, and Bella Gifts to Geaux. Representatives from the Swirl Wine Bar team will be onsite to facilitate delivery orders of all the wines included in the tasting.

The CP Sips series will occur monthly from October to December. Each event will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. 

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12 – It’s Fall, Y’all! Luxe Bottles from the Classic French Regions

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9 – Gather & Sip: All the Best Wines for Turkey Day

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7 – Cheers to the Holidays! Champagnes, Sparklers, Outstanding Whites, and Gift-Worthy Reds 

o   Featured Local Maker: Bella Gifts to Geaux
