NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Commander’s Palace and New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) have announced the Commander’s Palace Chef’s Table Experience auction – a once-in-a-lifetime online silent auction featuring a dining adventure for four (4) at Commander’s renowned Chef’s Table.

Win the most coveted seat in the city!  Reservations at the Commander’s Chef’s Table – the third Chef’s Table ever in the country – are often booked a year in advance. Bid today for your exclusive chance to dine at the Chef’s Table on one of the most popular dates of the year, the first evening of Jazz Fest – Thursday, April 25 – also the weekend many food and wine loving friends will be in New Orleans for the Wine Spectator Grand Tour 2024. This experience is perfect for foodies and wine aficionados alike!

At our Chef’s Table, placed in the heart of Commander’s storied kitchen, every bite tells a story, and every story is a celebration. Executive Chef Meg Bickford will create a multi-course menu especially for you. These creations may be a once-in-a-lifetime dish, or you could be tasting the first bite of a new favorite on the Commander’s menu.

Online bidding began on Thursday, April 11, and closes at 12 p.m. CT on Monday, April 22, at bidpal.net/commanderspalaceauction. This prize package includes a Commander’s Palace Chef’s Table Experience for four (4) on 4/25/2024. All proceeds benefit New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI).

Commander’s Chef’s Table Experience details:

  • Dine at one of the first three Chef’s Tables in the country, where all of Commander’s Palace’s Executive Chefs received mentorship from Ella Brennan and now Ti Martin & Lally Brennan.
  • Chef’s Table reservations are for groups of 4 guests – no more and no less. Auction winners will have the opportunity to schedule their experience for 6:30 p.m. or later.
  • You will be in the heart of the action when dining in Commander’s kitchen – this is a unique opportunity to see New Haute Creole come to life before it’s served in the dining room.
  • Each dish will be expertly paired with award-winning wines handpicked by Dan Davis, the wine guy, to complement every flavor profile and elevate your dining adventure.
  • Enjoy a private tour of the Commander’s wine cellar with Dan Davis. Learn about the wine program that has earned Commander’s the Wine Spectator Grand Award for 12 years running, since 2012. This is your perfect preparation for Wine Spectator’s Grand Tasting on Saturday, April 26, 2024.
