If you’ve been to, or even passed by, the famous Commander’s Palace in the Garden District, you’ll recognize its iconic blue color. The Robin egg blue-like hue is as iconic as the building and its proprietors Ti Martin and Lally Brennan.
In a recent interview with the duo, we were intrigued when they mentioned that they will be expanding their Commander’s collection offerings. We knew they had a few swag items in their arsenal – Ti was even wearing the scarf they sell – but we didn’t know how much they had already on offer.
And with their signature blue color over all the products, some of the more elegant pieces could make the perfect “something blue” for a guest to gift a couple. (And even the non-blue items still come from Commander’s with their signature blue, so we think it still counts.)
We wanted to share a few of our favorites, because everyone could always use a new bridal shower, engagement party or wedding gift option.
This set of blue ribbon dessert plates are our favorite of the bunch. They are elegant without being too feminine and who wouldn’t want to finish off a good meal with a cute set of plates?

Printed cocktail napkins are always trending in party decorations, but there is something special about a linen napkin. Commander’s has a set of four embroidered linen cocktail napkins that will elevate any bar setup.

Speaking of a bar, though this is not “blue” necessarily, who wouldn’t want to make classic cocktail with a Commander’s Palace handmade (in Italy) pewter jigger? Great for a “Stock the Bar” party.

Keeping with the bar theme, they also offer a set of two wave coupe glasses. Coupe glasses are our favorite type of cocktail glass because usually it comes with something bubbly.
As well as this bar cutting board perfect for your lemons, limes and more!

And finally, Lally Brennan gave us an inside scoop that their most popular item in their shop is the hand-crafted cherry wood roux spoon. And she noted to make sure you check off whether you need a right-handed or a left-handed spoon – they have both!
