Madison Burris knows the value of working together. His high school mission trips showed him that giving back wasn’t necessarily about dollars—it was about giving time and talents to people who could use it the most. He carries that philosophy with him today as the Director of Community Partners for Fidelity Bank.
“My position affords me the opportunity to collaborate, with a goal of establishing a relationship that results in a win for all involved,” said Madison. Thanks to Fidelity’s program, he works with non-profits of all shapes and sizes over the entire Greater New Orleans Area, providing organizations with the time, the talents and the resources to grow and provide services to the region.
Outside of the work Madison does with Fidelity’s Community Partners, he works with his local Ducks Unlimited chapter, most recently in a supporting role for their Mud Boat Poker Run and Green Wing Event. He and his wife, along with their two children, do their best to get outside and enjoy the wildlife and the organizations that celebrate it.
One of the newest Community Partners that Madison has brought into the Fidelity program is The First Tee. A program aimed at kids, The First Tee blends instruction in the game of golf with life and leadership lessons that children enrolled in the program can continue to use for the rest of their lives. “While core values are not uncommon in the world of non-profits, what is less common is First Tee has found a way to tie their core values back to a game that can be enjoyed and played throughout a person’s entire life,” said Madison.
