Mardi Gras season has concluded, and events around Acadiana are returning to their usual blend of uniquely creative and innovative. This weekend kicks off with the annual Women’s Leadership Conference, which is sure to motivate and equip Acadiana women with local resources and inspiration! A Beer and Gear social from one of Lafayette’s premier outdoor specialty stores is a great way to meet new people, and a supernatural festival is sure to be fun (and telling, should you get your fortunes read). Cheers!

3/6: Derrick Savoie + Burris Reve After Hours: Reve Coffee Roasters brings back its After Hours concert series this Friday evening with two of the brightest stars in Acadiana. His clear and resonant voice and creative guitar picking make him one of the most inspiring young artists in Lafayette. Burris, moniker for multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Christopher Burris Hochkeppel and a rotating collective of Louisiana’s finest musicians, has had music featured on The Syfy Channel, Lifetime, BTR Today, Inside New Orleans, and more. The project will be releasing a sophomore album in 2020 with the help of well-known producer and engineer, Chris Finney. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the music starts an hour later. Cover starts at $5 and goes to $10, so get there early!
