NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The New Orleans Family Wellness Health Fair will take place Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Lafitte Greenway Park at the corner of St. Louis St. and N. Derbigny St.
Free eye exams, blood pressure tests, blood glucose level screenings, and hematocrit measurements will be available at the New Orleans Family Wellness Health Fair on Saturday, October 29th in Lafitte Greenway Park. New Orleans community leaders, including the city’s leading health provider systems, HBCUs and local colleges, community membership organizations, and more will come together to help create a healthier city. In addition to health screenings, attendees can enjoy free food, giveaways, and raffles for prizes including Tulane football tickets, cookbooks, and more. Attendees will also be able to learn how they can help advance precision medicine research through the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program. All of Us is inviting one million or more people to help build one of the most diverse health databases in history.
