We always try to find fun and festive happy hour deals to share with cocktail lovers. Here are just a few options as we gear up to tolerate the dog days of Louisiana summer heat. Try them all, or try a few but what ever you do, try something new.
If you are feeling a little fancy head into the quarter for some sips at Restaurant R’evolution (777 Bienville St.). Happy hour deals here run Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. You can choose from select beers for $5 and cocktails for $7, as well as a selection of wines for $7.
If you are looking to try a new spot, try Sofia (516 Julia St.). The drink specials run Tuesday through Friday from 4 – 6 p.m. You can get Peroni on draft for $4, glasses of wine for $6 and Spritzes for $7. This place promises to be as fun and funky as its cocktail menu.
St. Roch Market (2381 St. Claude Ave.) has been a longtime favorite for many of us and the bar is no exception. Cocktail specials run Monday through Friday for $6 or less until 6 p.m. Some of the affordable options include: Margarita, Vodka Gimlet, Old Fashioned, Fitzgerald, Daiquiri and Sangria – just to name a few. Trying to save a few bucks? Pick PBR beer or Tecate for $3. Who can resist?
The Blue Crab (7900 Lakeshore Dr.) catches our attention with $1 off draft beer of Miller Lite, Blue Moon and Abita Amber during happy hour from Tuesday through Thursday from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Other great deals include $3 house wine that include chardonnay, pinot grigio, pinot noir, cabernet, merlot and champagne. Fun times call for fun drinks.
