Copeland’s Kicks Off Carnival Season with Special Mardi Gras Treats

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Copeland’s Family announces it will kick off Mardi Gras with three special menu items—King Caketini, Mardi Gras Rum Cream Bread Pudding, and Mardi Gras King Cake Cheesecake—available from January 6 through February 21 at all locations. “As we celebrate 40 years in business in 2023, we are excited to partner with other local family businesses to create special items for our Mardi Gras features,” said Al Copeland, Jr. “This year, just in time for Twelfth Night parties, we will launch the King Caketini made with Gambino’s King Cake Rum Cream. We’re also bringing back last year’s hottest dessert–Mardi Gras Rum Cream Bread Pudding which is also made with Gambino’s Rum.” In addition to the bread pudding, the Copeland’s Mardi Gras staple, the Mardi Gras King Cake Cheesecake, is also available. Each patron that orders a King Caketini, Mardi Gras Rum Cream Bread Pudding, or Mardi Gras King Cake Cheesecake this Mardi Gras season will receive a doubloon offering 2 for 1 Crash and Burns from January 6th – February 21st

Gambino’s King Cake Rum Cream comes from Sidewalk Side Spirits, another local business, which worked with Gambino’s Bakery and the award-winning bartenders of New Orleans’ own Cocktail & Sons to create the King Cake Rum Cream. The bread pudding cream sauce is combined with Kleinpeter’s heavy cream to create a warm king cake rum sauce.

King Cake Cheesecake, King Cake Rum Cream Bread Pudding and Crash and Burns are offered dine-in, curbside pickup or catering at CopelandsToGo.com
