NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Copper Vine announced today its upcoming wine dinner experience as part of its quarterly wine dinner series – A Wine Feast on Thursday, Nov. 18, featuring the thoughtful and lush wines of Darioush Winery. Tickets are available now ($150) at www.CopperVine.com.
THE FOOD: Executive Chef Amy Mehrtens will take guests on a culinary journey through a decadent six-course dining experience with dishes including a Golden Osetra Caviar and Sea Scallop, Fire Roasted Chestnut and Hen’s Egg, Duck en Croûte with Fennel Sausage, Spicy Capicola with Buttery Aubergine, Dry Aged Bison Ribeye with Black Truffle and a Caramelized Pear and Dark Chocolate Tart.
THE WINES: Copper Vine’s Sommelier Lydia Kurkoski will curate harmonious wine pairings featuring Darioush Wines to complement the evening’s feast. Grounded in Southern Napa Valley, Darioush is a story of the harmonious blending of traditions – a culture of graciousness and thoughtfulness and one rooted in the ideals of individualism and opportunity. They are committed to a Bordeaux-style of winemaking – a blended style they long admired for the potential to truly express a wine’s character.
