NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Since opening September 2018 at 1001 Poydras St. in New Orleans’ Central Business District, Copper Vine has offered a unique culinary and cultural experience aimed to demystify wine in a fun and relaxed setting. It is only fitting that the creative eatery and wine pub is set to launch a series of wine dinners with elevated regional cuisine and top-tier vintners. Kicking off the series on Thursday, May 16, will be a five-course pairing dinner with David Arthur Vineyards and Reynolds Family Winery.
According to in-house sommelier Lydia Kurkoski, “Our goal with these wine dinners is to both entertain and educate. We will provide our guests with guided tasting notes of each wine and give them the opportunity to learn about the vineyards, all while enjoying a meal specifically crafted with these wines in mind.”
Created by Executive Chef Mike Brewer and Chef de Cuisine Amy Mehrtens, the sophisticated yet approachable pairing dinner will showcase the elevated southern regional cuisine that the restaurant is known for, with each wine selected to perfectly complement the robust flavors of the dish. Priced at $150 per person, all-inclusive, menu follows:
