The Junior League of New Orleans held an exciting fundraiser filled with culinary treats, delicious cosmopolitans and lots of fabulous shopping. Cosmos on Canal, which took place on Nov. 28, at the Shops at Canal Place, featured music by the Straw Hats, beverages by Glasers, food by local restaurants, raffle items and even a makeover! Chaired by Carolyn Cristy and Ginny Wirth, the event raised money to benefit projects in the group’s focus area of children’s education.
The Junior League of New Orleans is committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our community through the effective action and trained volunteers. The JLNO seeks to enrich the lives of those in our area – and if cosmos do the trick, let’s raise a glass!
