Couvant Brings Back Nightmare on Magazine Street Drag Brunch

NEW ORLEANS –  Couvant (inside The Eliza Jane hotel) announced the upcoming Nightmare on Magazine Street drag brunch on Halloween – Friday, Oct. 31 – from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

This Halloween-inspired drag brunch will be hosted by three Trixie Minx Productions queens and is a celebration with spellbinding performances that are guaranteed to be frightfully fun and the perfect way to kick off Halloween weekend celebrations. 

The menu is inspired by everyone’s favorite treats and with spooky chic vibes throughout. Highlights of the $55 pre fixe menu include:  

Appetizers: 

• Foster Bones | Brioche Bread, Creole Cream Cheese, Banana, Rum Sauce
• Smoked Salmon | Avocado Purée, Pickled Shallot, Heirloom Tomato, Arugula

Mains:  

• Frankenstein Benedict | English Muffin, Beer-Battered Shellfish Croquette, Poached Egg, Crab Boil Hollandaise
• Haunted House | BBQ-Style Shrimp, Peppers, Onion, Polenta Cakes, Tomato-Truffle Aioli

Sweets:  

• Candy Corn Trifle | Layered Orange Cream, Vanilla Cake Pieces, Corn-Flavored Custard
• Mudslide | Chocolate Brownie, House-Made Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce
