NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts and Blue Runner Foods, in partnership with Louisiana Hospitality Foundation and United Way of Southeast Louisiana, will again provide meals for the Hospitality Cares Food Distribution Drive-Thru. As part of Creole Cuisine’s recently launched, ongoing feeding program, two meals per person—one pre-prepared and one cook-at-home—will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through drive-thru and walk-up formats. All hospitality workers are invited to safely pick-up meals through the safe, limited contact method.
“Many of these workers have never been in this situation, never been unemployed,” said Marv Ammari, CEO of Creole Cuisine. “Seeing the look of worry on their faces tells me this is necessary and appreciated. We are honored to be able to provide some feeling of hopefulness and believe that soon we will all be back to work together.” Creole Cuisine has committed to providing meals for three drive-thru distributions, as well as food for children with limited access to food during non-school months.
