Crescent City Sneaker Ball Returns April 23

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Not much can compare to the passion that the city of New Orleans has for its culture, its people and what it means to “laissez le bon temps rouler.” Inspired by this, the Crescent City Sneaker Ball is back with its 2022 event and bringing together diverse young professionals at a unique intersection of uplifting the community, inspiring philanthropy, and celebrating the spirit of the Big Easy.

Now in its 3rd year, the city’s original black-tie and sneaker event will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans (601 Loyola Ave., New Orleans, LA 70113) on Saturday, April 23, from 8 p.m. – 1 a.m.

The highly anticipated 2022 event is expecting more than 700 guests, outfitted in their flyest gown, tuxedo, and sneaker combinations. Guests will experience an immersive event complete with the opportunity to strut the ‘Black Carpet’ & pose for the sneaker cam, engage with interactive activations and enjoy a premium open bar and full dinner buffet throughout the night – all from the comfort and style of their freshest kicks. And to make it truly a “good time,” the evening’s vibes will be curated by New Orleans’ own and Roc Nation touring DJ, DJ F T K and a second line finale by the preeminent Da Truth Brass Band.

At the crux of the event’s mission is engaging young professionals across the Greater New Orleans region with the opportunity to positively impact the community. This year, the Crescent City Sneaker Ball is partnering with three local public schools that were impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Ida in August 2021 and retooling schools with classroom supplies. In addition to donating a portion of event proceeds to the schools, the Crescent City Sneaker Ball is asking all guests to “Pack A Backpack” by donating a generous combination of school supplies to support students, teachers & families at Laplace Elementary, Esperanza Academy, and Douglass High School.

The Crescent City Sneaker Ball is thankful for the collaboration and support of its sponsors who believe in its mission including Sean Blondell Law Firm, LLC, Crown Royal™, JP Morgan Chase & Co®, Patron®, Grey Goose®, Dusse®, The Blue Flamingo, Willow Creatives, Avant Garde, and Urban Systems.
