NEW ORLEANS (press release) – We might be experiencing a warmer-than-usual fall this year, but the Freret Street watering hole Cure has officially rolled out their “Cold Weather” cocktail menu to honor the change of the season.
The new menu features 11 cocktails, and like every special menu, was developed by the bar team alongside Owner Neal Bodenheimer following several sessions of workshopping, product sourcing and recipe development.
After just a few days post-launch, some initial highlights include The Speed of the Sound of Loneliness, which is an untraditional appletini variation; Single Entendre, a bourbon smash featuring black tea, honey and grapefruit; and Left Handed Compliment, a martini variation with notes of fresh fig and toasted coconut, amongst a handful of other delicious options.
