Mr. and Mrs. Brad Ferrand
JoneƩ Mae Daigle and Brad David Ferrand were united in marriage on March 18, 2006, in a 1 p.m. ceremony at St. Louis Cathedral, New Orleans, where Reverend Raymond Fitzgerald S.J. officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Keith Daigle, of Covington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Vincent Cusimano and of Mr. and Ms. Ralph Daigle. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn David Ferrand of Harahan. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Elmer Ferrand and Mrs. Elmer Ferrand and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schroeder. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a chapel length ivory satin princess gown, with crystals and beads on the bodice and train of the gown, flowing over the gown was an ivory cathedral length veil both made by Reem Acra from Town and Country. She was carrying a bouquet with ivory and champagne roses with lilies of the valley and the stems were wrapped with ivory double satin ribbon.
Genevieve Daigle served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Summer D. Brandt, Celeste Brewer, Melissa Daigle, Lauren Ferrand and Laura Kelley. Each attendant wore ivory strapless Vera Wang satin gowns with champagne ribbons that crossed in the front. Jennica Berman served as junior bridesmaids and Renee Simon and Hannah Bryant served as flower girls. Glenn Ferrand, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Patrick Daigle, Corey Day, Corey Fitzpatrick, and Bob Wynne. Marcus Simon served as junior groomsmen and Stevie Strickland served as ring bearer. Chuck Cusimano III, Troy Schroeder, Willis H. Brewer III, and John Holzer IV served as ushers.
Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in the Grand Salon, where the guests were second lined from St. Louis Cathedral to the reception by Dr. Jazz. On the Thursday night prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Antoine’s Restaurant.
The couple honeymooned in Rome, Florence and Capri, Italy. They now reside in Covington. The bride is a sales manager for Renaissance Publishing, LLC, and the groom is an attorney with Hailey, McNamara, Hall, Lurmann and Papale, L.L.C.
