St. Charles Avenue

Dance if You Can-Can

Adecadent and delightful theme —“Moulin Rouge”—mixed in with a hip venue and eye-catching attractions are just part of the recipe for a fabulous party.

Just ask the many who attended the Ballet Resource and Volunteer Organization (BRAVO)’s Ballet Ball fund-raiser held June 1 at Republic. The evening was filled with exotic entertainment, featuring Fleur de Tease, French can-can dancing, fire eating, aerial dancing and more. Live and silent auctions also took place while guests danced to the sounds of Harvey Jesus & Fire. Food stations around the nightclub were filled with treats from Benedict’s catering.

The evening was colorful and entertaining for all and it benefited a wonderful cause as BRAVO donated funds raised at the soiree to benefit the New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA).
