A Metairie native and LSU Dental School graduate, Dr. Claire Raphael enjoyed a career as an Occupational Therapist for twelve years before pivoting to dentistry and working with her father in private practice. While later working with a Federally Qualified Health Center in Delhi, LA, Dr. Raphael developed a deep respect for community healthcare dentistry and decided to dedicate her career to making a difference.
“What makes working at DePaul Community Health Centers so unique is our extremely varied patient population,” says Raphael. “I am frequently challenged to devise inventive solutions to fit a patient’s personal needs and budget.”
After three years with DePaul Community Health Centers, Dr. Raphael practices all aspects of dentistry but enjoys root canals and extractions best and takes comfort in knowing that her work is of immense benefit to the people she serves.
