NEW ORLEANS (press release) – DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) – in partnership with the Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program, The American Culinary Federation – New Orleans Chapter, Thrive Community Center, and additional community partners – announced the return of its annual Christmas Toy and New Clothing Giveaway. The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thrive Community Center located at 3600 Desire Pkwy.
The giveaway is free and open to the public, providing toys and new clothing to children between 3 and 13 years of age. Items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and children must be present with a parent or guardian in order to receive items. No pre-registration is required.
“Our annual Christmas giveaway brings joy, relief, and holiday spirit to families across the greater New Orleans area,” said DePaul Community Health Centers President and CEO Dr. Michael Griffin. “We’re grateful to our partners and volunteers who help make this event possible for families during the holiday season.”
