Designer of the Week: Rivini

Rita Vinieris’ goal as a designer is to bring a refreshing era of simple luxury to the modern-day bride. Flowing silhouettes and attention to detail is the cornerstone of the Rivini brand. This philosophy was ever-present in the Rivini by Rita Vinieris Spring 2016 Collection, which debuted at Bridal Fashion Week in New York.

"Dawn breaks and rays of diffused light seep through my window," is the image designer Rita Vinieris had for the collection.

“I want to recreate this with lush layers of transparent fabrics — diffusing the body beneath,” Vinieris said in a write up by The Knot. “Seeing, but not seeing, an illusion of form, delicate and light.”

Flowing tulle, sweeping organza and shades of white with Chantilly lace deliver the effervescent, ethereal feeling Vinieris was trying to accomplish.
