Designer of the Week

A few months ago, New York City had its biannual Bridal Fashion Week. Here designers debut their lines for the upcoming season. Thanks to a complete picture album of each designer’s collection at Women’s Wear Daily, we LTEC editors have been up to our eyeballs in all of the beauty that Bridal Fashion Week brought the world. With that being said, we will occasionally have our favorite looks from wedding dress designers and pair them with colors, hair and makeup and how to style each look. Today, we bring you two beautiful looks from the Watters Spring 2015 collection.

First look:
Chemise Top with Priya skirt (sold separately). The top is a simple stretch silk Charmeuse tank and the skirt is a multi-layer Washed Silk Organza skirt in a full A-line silhouette.

The Importance of Hearing Health: Expert Care from Dr. Neal Jackson

Our sense of hearing is one of our most vital abilities, shaping the way we communicate, navigate the world, and experience life. It plays...
  • Makeup by Meggan suggests a simple flicked out winged eyeliner with very soft shadow. Give her skin a satin finished look and lips a “your lips but better” look. Since the dress is simple, keep the makeup pretty simple as well.
  • The accompanying flowers can either keep with the “simple is more” theme or be the picture-perfect pop of color for the outfit.  We suggest staying with light, airy flowers with springtime colors.

Second look:
Aziza Gown. Stunning and sexy, this long sleeve fit and flare gown features a plunging neckline in Watter’s Fern Lace with a contrast lining and pearl buttons down the back.

Styled:

  • With this look screaming sleek and sexy, your hair can’t fall flat. Suggested is a low, oversized and slicked back bun to show off the stunning detailing in the back of the dress or highlight the back with cascading vintage waves.

  • Makeup by Meggan suggests styling the makeup along with the Italian, romantic vibe of the dress. Pair a very bronze and gold smoky eye with dewy, glowing skin and a nude peachy color with a shiny gloss.

  • Add in extra drama with your flowers and make a color statement. Bring in the colors of your wedding or go for bold and dreamy statement.
