Designers of the Week: Lavish looks from New Orleans Bride Magazine

Today, we are taking the designer of the week straight from our own style shoot in the Winter/Spring 2015 issue of New Orleans Bride Magazine. “Love in Bloom” is an elegant depiction of the latest bridal trends. Plunging necklines and beaded detailing pop from the pages mirroring styles from the bridal runway shows in New York.

“Love in Bloom” was styled by Lisa Tudor and photographed by Theresa Cassagne.

Here are our favorites from the shoot with models Emilie Wilson and Christopher Rampage.

This beauty is an A-line gown with illusion neckline and plunging back. It’s made with hand-placed Carina lace, covered buttons and double-faced satin ribbon at the waist with sweep train.

The jewelry – 2.5 carat three-stone oval diamond engagement ring, diamond stud earrings and diamond tennis bracelets – is from Ramsey’s Diamond Jewelers.

But wait! There’s more!

We can’t forget our handsome gents. The favorite look from “Love in Bloom” for our dapper grooms is this private label velvet dinner jacket, plain front tuxedo shirt, silk bow tie and tuxedo pants (sold separately) from Tuxedos to Geaux.

Adding a little color to a tux can make for just the right compliment to any bridal look. It’s great for a City Park Sculpture Garden nuptials or a jazz themed affair at the Chicory.
