The season has begun. No, we don’t mean bridal season. (It’s always bridal season!) The season of award shows, red carpets and designer fashion began Sunday with the 2015 Emmy Awards. The Emmys is a night to honor amazing actors from all genres of television, but one could argue the real winners and losers of the night are the attendees whose fashion choices are scrutinized and categorized by fashion insiders and the fashion-loving masses. Style is everything when it comes to award shows and often embodies and set trends for the season.
As a spectator, it is fun to see what styles and colors celebrities will pick. At Let Them Eat Cake, it is a great opportunity to take celebrity inspiration and turn it into bridal fashion. Bridal inspired looks were surprisingly lacking this Emmy go-around, but flawless designs for your adored bridal party and mothers of the bride and groom were ever present.
Black can be an elegant and classy addition to your nuptials. We love the color black for your bridesmaids at a nighttime soiree. This year, the Emmy’s were overrun with gorgeous actresses in beautiful black ensembles. These looks can be the perfect fit for your bridal party or even the mother of the bride.
