Diamonds Direct Donates $50,000 to Help Feed Hungry Children
Diamonds Direct reaches halfway point in yearlong goal to raise $100,000 for No Kid Hungry
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (press release) – In partnership with No Kid Hungry, Diamonds Direct raised $50,000 in the month of September to fund the campaign’s work to feed hungry children across the country. With a year-long goal of donating a total of $100,000 to No Kid Hungry, Diamonds Direct is seeking to support kids who have lost access to the school meals they rely on during the COVID-19 pandemic and the aftermath. Through the efforts of all 19 of their locations, Diamonds Direct is holding an online silent auction of beautiful jewelry pieces, offering opportunities for in-store donations, and donating a percentage of all sales from the month of September to reach this goal. These methods have helped them to reach a donation total of $67,185 for No Kid Hungry since the partnership began in June 2020.
