Dine Al Fresco at Miss River & Chemin à la Mer

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Located inside Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans, Miss River is James Beard award-winning Chef Alon Shaya’s “love letter to Louisiana.” Fans of Shaya and Miss River alike can now enjoy blossoming garden views during brunch, lunch and dinner as they indulge in their favorite dishes and libations al fresco, including Shaya’s spirited take on beloved local dishes like the Clay Pot Dirty Rice with seared duck breast, duck egg yolk and scallions; and Duck and Andouille Gumbo with dark roux, filé, Louisiana rice, potato salad, and spring onions. Patio seating is available on a first come first served basis, weekdays during lunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and dinner from 5:30-10 p.m. as well as during brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Diners looking for an outdoor experience can also head up to the fifth floor of Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans and enjoy sweeping city vistas and captivating views of the Mississippi River at Chemin à la Mer’s wrap around deck. Curated by James Beard award-winning Chef Donald Link, Chemin à la Mer honors Link’s heritage with a menu full of rich regional fare, from the grand oyster bar to the specialty steaks and Gulf seafood, which are all steeped in French tradition. The perfect dining destination for breakfast, lunch or the restaurant’s iconic Oyster Hour – a unique happy hour that takes place Monday through Friday from 3-5P p.m. at the Oyster Bar and terrace featuring $1 select oysters paired with a $10 glass of wine selected by Chemin’s sommelier, Emily Kitzmiller. Guests can also enjoy in other all-day menu favorites such as the Grackle Burger with comte, caramelized onions, and dijonnaise on a brioche bun; and Pâté Grande Mère served with cornichon, whole grain mustard, and sourdough. Chemin à la Mer’s terrace dining is available daily for breakfast from 7-10:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., as well as Oyster Hour Monday through Friday from 3-5 p.m.
