Dine with the Sea Lions at Audubon Supper Club

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Make some new flippered friends at the Sea Lion & Sustainability Dinner on Tuesday, April 2 at Audubon Zoo.

Diners will enjoy a three-course dinner with wine pairings while seated among the ancient oaks surrounding the Odenheimer Sea Lion Pool. Audubon Supper Club ticket purchases support Audubon’s conservation efforts preserving local ecosystems and saving species across the globe.

Audubon Zoo’s sea lion care team will share with diners the inspirational story of how four of the five sea lions who call Audubon home were rescued from the wild and rehabilitated. Guests will also learn what it takes to care for Audubon Zoo’s marine mammals.

During dinner, Sea Lion Artwork will be raffled off to one lucky winner. All raffle proceeds will support sea lion conservation efforts.

“We are very excited to share each sea lion’s inspiring story with the diners and what it takes to care for this amazing species,” said Audubon Zoo Curator of Sea Lions Courtney Eparvier. “Sea lions face numerous threats in their ocean environment and the Sea Lion Artwork raffle will allow us to support important ocean conservation efforts.”

Tickets for the April 2 dinner are $115 each for Audubon Members or $125 each for non-Members. Seating is extremely limited, so get your tickets now. Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. Click HERE to purchase your tickets.

The element of mystery at Audubon Supper Club extends beyond the wild venues—dinner companions can also be a surprise. Audubon Supper Club features assigned group seating, encouraging a social opportunity to network and meet new people or—in typical New Orleans fashion—run into friends you haven’t seen in a while.
