If dealing with a global pandemic wasn’t enough, living in Louisiana and the Gulf South brings with it a host of other disaster prep needed for weddings, like preparing for an impending hurricane.

Tropical Storm Ida is about to enter the Gulf as we post this blog and we wanted to send a few resources for you to think about in the case of power outage or just being stuck inside and needing something to distract you.

First, we suggest catching up on all “Let Them Eat Cake” posts.

We have all the wedding inspiration you could need, all wedding etiquette questions answered and some of the best locations on earth, perfect for your honeymoon.

Additionally, some of the same backup plans that we’ve suggested and used for COVID-19 restrictions could also be used to prepare for the threat of hurricane season.

Here is a list we compiled of pandemic prep, as well as general wedding preparations and making sure you keep on task with your wedding to-do list.

Stay safe and happy planning!
