Dr. Patrick Waring

Dr. Patrick Waring, founder of The Pain Intervention Center, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. After graduating from Jesuit High School, he attended the University of Notre Dame and Tulane University Medical School, graduating from both with high honors. He was named the “Outstanding Graduate Resident” from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he completed his fellowship in Anesthesiology. In 2003, Dr. Waring was named as one of only 43 instructors in the prestigious International Spine Intervention Society where he continues to serve as a senior instructor.

He is a forerunner in the practice of interventional pain medicine and respected for his success in treating spine pain through non-narcotic, non-surgical, minimally invasive techniques, all expertly performed under fluoroscopic x-ray guidance.

Dr. Patrick Waring and his knowledgeable staff have helped thousands of satisfied patients who visited The Pain Intervention Center suffering from neck pain, back pain, degenerative joint conditions, whiplash, and even painful job-related and personal injury. They take into consideration the importance of physical, psychological, and rehabilitative methods for chronic pain management and perform all procedures in a state-of-the-art, private, and comfortable facility conveniently located in Old Metairie Village.

No referrals are necessary and most major medical insurance is accepted.
