Dr. Suleman is a strong believer in organized medicine to help improve the quality of medical care and protect patients’ rights. He has been a member and served as President of numerous medical associations, societies, and committees. Additionally, he served as Chief of Staff, President of Medical Staff, and on the Board of Governors at Kenner Medical Center (now Ochsner). Dr. Suleman is active within the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America and serves on the Board of Directors of the Pakistan Public Affairs Committee. He is a member of the State Board of Pharmacy and Therapeutics and the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
