Cathy Harris is co-founder of Each One Save One. This non-profit mentoring organization, which began in 1994, works to empower children throughout the Metropolitan New Orleans area. In this podcast, Cathy explains that not only does Each One Save One offer mentoring programs, the organization also shows other organizations how to start their own mentoring programs. Mentors with Each One Save One must undergo rigorous training to prepare them to work with the children they mentor. During its two decades in New Orleans, Each One Save One has had many successes; in this interview, Cathy shares a few of these inspiring stories. On Friday, January 16, 2015, Each One Save One will celebrate its 20th anniversary and honor mentoring programs throughout the city at the Mentor Magic Gala fundraiser.
