NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Eden House is hosting an inaugural fundraising event, “Building Dreams,” on Wednesday, Nov. 20 in New Orleans. The primary goal of the event is to furnish Eden House’s second residential location.
Eden House is a movement to eradicate the trafficking and selling of human beings. Its mission is to create systemic change through youth prevention, education, legislative advocacy, recovery and reentry services for victims and long-term shelter.
A Patron Party will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by the Main Event featuring cocktails, gourmet fare and live entertainment by country artist/singer-songwriter Elizabeth Lyons. An interactive home registry will allow guests to furnish the organization’s second residence to double its capacity of survivors. In addition, an original piece by Ashley Longshore, “Audrey with Lotus” will be auctioned off and a luxury staycation courtesy of The Windsor Court and Arnaud’s will be raffled off. Attire: ballgowns, blue jeans or anything in between.
