I have always considered winter and spring in New Orleans our city’s most beautiful seasons. As I type, there’s a beautiful pink, orange and violet sunset out my window, and I’m looking forward to curling up in a blanket in my backyard in front of a fire with a hot toddy.
There are few things more romantic than walking hand-in-hand with the one you love in winter, all bundled up, stealing a very warm kiss. However, while winter here is magical, spring has always been known as a time of beginnings and renewal.
With that in mind, we present you with New Orleans Bride’s fourth autonomous issue. Inside you’ll find more features than ever with more local information on how to create your special day. We have added a style feature that not only presents you with page-perfect looks for your wedding party, but also with gift ideas for those hard-to-shop-for bridesmaids, mothers and little ones. You will also find wedding table looks from some of the most prestigious vendors in town, with tips for you in their own words, as well as a final look at a wedding favor – your guests’ final look and remembrance of your wedding.
I have the honor of introducing our cover bride, Mrs. Brett Patrick Bauman (née Cheryl Christina Mintz). Her photos are beautiful, and Brett and Cheryl’s story of meeting through charity events is not to be missed. Our best wishes for happiness and contentment to the couple!
