Each year we celebrate the women of New Orleans with a special issue highlighting top achievers, leaders across the area, business owners and influencers. We have stories of success, good reads by female authors, recipes, news and more.
Our 2025 class of Top Female Achievers is always an inspiring look at some of the best and brightest working behind the scenes to make big changes in the Big Easy. This year’s group is exceptional, with women leading the way in healthcare, nonprofits, business, the culinary and visual arts and more. It’s hard not to feel motivated to make one’s own impact on the city after reading their stories. We hope you are equally inspired.
We also offer a bit of retail therapy with our shop local feature. It highlights some of our favorite women-owned boutiques, spas and stores along with great places to stop for a coffee, glass of wine or refreshment. It’s a great catalogue of places to go out with friends or family this spring. Be sure to bookmark it.
Finally, our roster of regular columns highlight ways you can enjoy spring and champion women across the area. Writer Eve Crawford Peyton shares her personal navigation of Carnival and Jazz Fest as first a teenager and then later as a mom. Bartender Victoria Pisarello details her transformation story from photographer to patron favorite behind the bar at Felipe’s Uptown, as well as her best classic margarita for spring sipping. And our Persona highlights the multifaceted work of Kati LeBreton, Fidelity Bank Power Program director, podcast host and more.
We raise our glass (margarita?) to the women of New Orleans. Cheers to your work, your leadership and style! Happy reading!
