Since 1887, the Academy of the Sacred Heart has been educating the young women of New Orleans. Sacred Heart is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls, preschool through grade 12. It is the only area Catholic girls’ school that is a member of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS), the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Network of Sacred Heart Schools and the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools.
