Other volunteer training through Ways & Means Council Secretary, Endowment/Planned Giving, Staffing Vice-Chair, Events Committee Member, and a member of the Nominating Committee.  This helped her understand how the League is structured, what processes and procedures help run efficient committees, and what leaders can do to ensure positive community impact and member satisfaction. Through volunteering, Elizabeth has found that “there are so many people who are eager to help. No matter how busy and complicated their schedules may be, members of the League are committed to serving others through meaningful volunteer experiences and community engagement.”

Since joining JLNO, Elizabeth says, “I am routinely impressed by the League’s ability to adapt and mobilize resources for our community partners. By participating in partnership programs with Second Harvesters, the Diaper Bank or Disaster Relief drives, I appreciate the size and depth of the League’s networking capabilities to help allocate needed resources for our region in a timely and efficient manner.”
