Emeril’s Marks 35 Years with Celebration Dinner

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Emeril’s, the original flagship restaurant created by Emeril Lagasse and now helmed by E.J. Lagasse, celebrates 35 years since it opened in New Orleans’ Warehouse District. To pay tribute to the restaurant’s legacy as well as celebrating the future, Emeril’s will host a 35th Anniversary Celebration Dinner featuring a special tasting menu with beloved iconic dishes, a champagne toast, and live music.  Guests can also celebrate the occasion in The Wine Bar at Emeril’s, with signature bites, cocktails and more available to both dinner guests as well as walk-ins. In addition, an array of additional celebratory events and occasions will be announced throughout the year.

Thirty-five years ago, a young chef with an uncompromising vision transformed a former warehouse in downtown New Orleans into a ground-breaking restaurant that redefined Creole cuisine.  Today, Chef E.J. Lagasse and his team carry on Emeril’s culinary legacy and strive to deliver an elevated dining and hospitality experience with Louisiana culture as its cornerstone.

“I’m thankful to the city of New Orleans and to all the customers, farmers and purveyors who have supported us through the years,” said Chef Emeril Lagasse.  “When I opened Emeril’s in 1990, it was my goal to bring a fresh, creative approach to New Orleans culinary traditions and it’s exciting to see E.J. and his team continue to push the envelope and evolve the hospitality experience in new and exciting ways.”

“Continuing the culinary heritage of Emeril’s is a responsibility I take very seriously and one I am honored to work on every day,” said Chef E.J. Event Details:  Tickets for the tasting menu in the dining room are $250 per person, (excluding tax and gratuity) and are available via Resy.  The Wine Bar at Emeril’s does not require pre-booking and will be open for both dinner guests as well as others without seated reservations.
