Lighthouse for the Blind’s annual benefit took place on March 6, at Arnaud’s restaurant, while guests clad in business attire dined and sipped cocktails during a silent auction, bidding on items such as designer sunglasses, Lasik Eye Surgery, a day at the spa, an eye exam with a free pair of glasses and a year’s supply of contact lenses. The event also had raffles for French Quarter getaways and dinners; as well as a Zurich Classic Fan Packs with tickets and vouchers for food and beverages.
Co-chairs were Helen Butcher, Adrienne Casbarian, Katy Casbarian, Mathilde Currence, Charles Glaser, Shannon Gunther, Bonita Hawkins, Julie Henault and Kathleen Ramsey.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by The Jerry Embree Jazz
Trio Band.
Guests were also enlightened at a technology table with demonstrations of devises and visual aids carried by the Lighthouse Store, Magnifiers & More.
