Started in 1959 by Ronald Steele Sr., Ron-Del Floor Service has passed down the family line to Ronald Steele Jr, his wife Rosalia Steele, and Mark Steele in the 1970s to today where the third generation, Elizabeth Caldarera and her husband Michael J. Caldarera Sr, have now joined the team. A Greater New Orleans Area staple, Ron-Del Floor Service has been a part of several major historical renovation projects including the Gallier Hall part of the New Orleans Tricentennial, Preservation Hall, The National World War 2 Museum, the Cornstalk Fence House (1859), St Elizabeth’s Orphanage (1860), and the Rosegate House (1857).
