At 25 years old, Katie Yellin opened her first bridal shop with only 30 gowns in nearby Fairhope, Alabama. A Gulf Shores native, Katie loved visits to New Orleans and kept her eye on the city as a home for her second store. Today, Bliss Bridal offers elegant boutiques in Fairhope, New Orleans, and Hattiesburg, with over 1,000 designer gowns all under $3,000.
Bliss Bridal opened in New Orleans in 2015 and has grown into its new showroom, doubling capacity. The award-winning boutique has landed a variety of accolades, including a Tops of the Town nod from New Orleans Magazine and Best of Awards from The Knot for all three locations.
“We offer brides and their friends and families a beautiful, momentous experience while shopping,” says Katie. “They can find a designer gown and have the perfect ‘say yes’ moment without stretching their budget.” Bliss is also a full-service shop with dresses for bridesmaids, men’s wear, accessories and alterations.
