From a childhood spent immersed in nature, Sparks Collins’ aesthetic for design was refined through graduate school and running her namesake boutiques; forming a point of view based upon appreciation and exhibition of local and regional artists and craftsmen. Upon opening her own boutique design firm, Hattie Sparks Interiors, she began a journey of revitalizing many historic projects throughout New Orleans; infusing them with the city’s own brand of livability, authenticity, and joyfulness.
