Face of Life Safety Protection

Louisiana Fire Extinguisher, Inc.

In 1949 Louisiana Fire Extinguisher, Inc. (LFE) consisted of three employees, who inspected and serviced fire extinguishers. Today, the company is in its third generation of family operation and is a full-service, Life Safety company with 75 employees and expanded services into Residential and Commercial Sprinkler Systems, Back Flows, Paint Spray Booths, Kitchen Fire Suppression, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarm, Emergency Lights, Exit Lights, Hydrotest to 10,000PSI, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Commission License, Transport Canada, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen, Helium and more—a truly one-stop shop.

“Life safety is all about helping people and companies, many times, in an emergency. If we can make that process smoother in any way, we have done our job,” says Sarah Grace Brooks, CEO. “We pride ourselves on being in business for 70 years, and we believe our customer service is one of the main reasons why,” says Brooks, who is the granddaughter of founder Mallory Grace, “It is a team effort and we are proud of our team of employees.”

Brooks works alongside her brother, Jay Grace, Vice President, who has over 23 years of experience with LFE. Both hold multiple certifications in Life Safety from the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal.
