The Louisiana Center for Advanced Medicine (LCAM) was founded in 2019 to fill a growing need of care for underserved patients with rare, chronic inherited blood disorders. LCAM utilizes an integrated multi-disciplinary approach and partners with community providers, academic institutions, public sector organizations, community leaders and surrounding hospitals to provide comprehensive and cohesive care.

“We have a beautiful spa-retreat like space that is very welcoming to patients of all ages—adults and children,” says Dr. Tammuella “Tami” Chrisentery-Singleton, Director. LCAM provides a medical home for children with chronic conditions and includes social work, pharmacy, customized infusion suites, and dedicated nursing personnel.

Dr. Singleton and the LCAM team works to help patients live healthier and longer while providing patient-centered integrated care.
