Originally founded in 1967 by Alan Vinturella’s father, Southland Plumbing Supply has enjoyed consistent growth in both its business and family. Alan joined the company in 1972 and has since welcomed his own children, Chad and Loni, as the third generation of the family business. As President, Alan has overseen the company’s expansion from the original plumbing supplies it offered to lighting, appliances, generators, custom shower doors, and the recent addition of custom wine cellars. In 2017, Southland Plumbing Supply acquired Outdoor Living Center in Covington, a 6,000 square foot showroom dedicated to outdoor lifestyle, which is managed by Alan’s wife, Mona.

Southland serves customers on both sides of the lake with a flagship Metairie showroom and a Kitchen & Bath Design Center in Mandeville, both offering the latest in quality home design.
