Tulane Melanoma Cancer Clinic
Tulane Melanoma Cancer Clinic has been recently established to provide a coordinated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and other malignancies of the skin. The Tulane Melanoma team provides a multi-disciplinary approach, involving dermatologists, a dermatopathologist, a Mohs surgeon, oncology surgeons, plastic surgeons, and an oncologist. They work together to provide the patient with comprehensive care from diagnosis to cure. All members of the team are board certified physicians in their respective fields.
The Melanoma Center is the only clinic in the region that provides mole mapping coupled with comprehensive full body skin examinations. In addition to melanoma, the center also provides surgical options for non-melanoma skin cancers referred to as Mohs surgery.
