NEW ORLEANS – Felipe’s announced May happenings across their New Orleans locations. Fundraising, Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day all offer community connection throughout the month.
- Thursday, May 1 – Saturday, May 31 – Round-Up Fundraiser Benefiting Son of a Saint: All month long, guests at every Felipe’s location can round up their check totals to the nearest dollar, with proceeds benefiting Son of a Saint. Felipe’s will match every guest donation to double the impact. The New Orleans-based nonprofit supports fatherless boys through mentorship, mental health services, academic support, and exposure to life-changing opportunities. The impact is personal for Felipe’s, too – Uptown Restaurant Manager Cemon “CC” Anderson is a proud Son of a Saint alum who credits the program with shaping his growth as a leader both in and outside the kitchen.
- Monday, May 5 – Cinco de Mayo: The biggest fiesta of the year is back. It may fall on a Monday, but there’s no case of the Mondays here. Stop by to enjoy live music, award-winning tacos and burritos and the best margaritas in town.
- Sunday, May 11– Mother’s Day: Mom deserves the best, and we’ve got her covered with a free entrée when she shows the Felipe’s app. Celebrate with small-batch scratch-made dishes and margaritas worth raising a glass to. Our team is ready to make this day extra special.
