Fidelity Bank Launches Giving Back School Debit Card Program

with Mandeville High School as First Participant

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Fidelity Bank recently launched its new School Debit Card Program to give back to participating schools with every debit card swipe. The first participating school is Mandeville High School.

As part of the program, students were encouraged to submit designs for the front of the Mandeville High School debit card with junior Sophia Mecca creating the winning design. Parents, students, alumni and fans of Mandeville High School may now open a personal checking account at any Fidelity Bank branch and request the Mandeville High debit card.

The new program is open to any elementary, junior or high schools (is there a geographic perimeter?) who wish to participate in the innovative give back program.

“Our new School Debit Card Program is the perfect fundraising opportunity for schools throughout South Louisiana,” said Fidelity Bank President and CEO Chris Ferris. “Every time someone with a school’s debit card makes a purchase, the school will earn money by just being enrolled.”

Schools interested in learning more about the new School Debit Card Program should contact Financial Literacy Specialist Javier Sanchez by calling 504-569-3541 or emailing Javier.sanchez@bankwithfidelity.com

Fidelity Bank, a 115-year-old financial institution, with branches throughout the New Orleans area recently opened its second branch in Baton Rouge and announced construction of its first branch in Lafayette.
