But after thoughtful consideration, I’ve concluded that the costs are mostly justified. If we compare the purchase to a vehicle, the couch is a better deal. I’ll spend about the same amount of time lounging on my couch as I will driving in my car- and the comfort of the former is far superior. I never have to take my sofa in for tune-ups or an oil change. Occasional pillow fluffing and spot cleaning will do the job. To boot, our couch serves as a venue for my two favorite things; streaming TV shows and snuggling my kids. So, before you purchase a new sofa, remember that your comfort is worth the investment.
