On Sunday, Feb. 9, FAIT | NOLA will host a Mardi Gras Headdress Workshop and lunch at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum. The workshop will provide guests with the opportunity to create an exciting piece to add to their Carnival costume closet. A press release about the event stated that the mother-daughter team/owners of FAIT Kathleen Robinson and Laura Joffrion will instruct attendees and have gathered extra-large silk flowers and other thrift store and glitter accent items to help you throughout the process.
Normally, we would suggest pairing this event with a girl’s lunch, but workshop participants also receive lunch, wine and a cocktail punch that has inspired the current exhibition at SoFAB.
For the workshop, wine and three-course lunch, tickets are $100 per person and can be found here.
