Football season is in full swing and whether visiting your kids in college or supporting your alma mater, chances are you’ll soon be stadium bound. If you aren’t already a routine spectator, you probably don’t have anything to wear to show your team spirit. This is where the old wedding edict, “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue (sub team color)” will serve you well. I recently consulted this old adage on a last-minute jaunt to a Tulane game. With little effort, I quickly pulled together an old pair of cropped jeans, a new stadium approved see-through bag, a borrowed baseball cap from my husband and a green poplin top (not blue but you get the idea) -and I was all set!
The moral of this blogpost isif you’re only attending a few games here and there, you don’t need to go all in and purchase a head-to-toe look. Between a quick trip to a neighborhood boutique, your husband’s closet and good friends, you’ve got it covered.
